About Tina
The woman under the cherry tree
Hello, I’m Tina.

I’m the founder of Under the Cherry Tree, a small women’s wellbeing practice based in Bude, Cornwall. But more than anything, I’m someone who deeply believes that women deserve spaces where they can rest, be supported, and come back to themselves without judgement or pressure to be “better”.
For over 25 years, I’ve worked alongside women through some of life’s most challenging experiences — from emotional overwhelm and burnout to trauma, abuse, and major life transitions. Over time, this work has shaped not only what I do, but how I do it.
It taught me that healing doesn’t happen through force.
It happens through safety, kindness, and being met where you are.

My Approach
I work gently and relationally. I don’t believe in quick fixes, pushing through, or “tough love” approaches. Many of the women I meet have spent years being strong for others — holding families together, coping quietly, and putting their own needs at the bottom of the list.
Under the Cherry Tree was created as an antidote to that.
This is a space where you don’t have to perform.
You don’t have to hold it together.
You don’t have to explain or justify how you feel.
We begin with safety. From there, we gently explore what’s been heavy, what you need more of, and how you might begin to feel more like yourself again — in your body, your mind, and your life.
My work weaves together holistic wellbeing, trauma-informed support, gentle body-based practices, mindfulness, and compassionate coaching. Everything is shaped around you as a whole person, not a set of problems to solve.
Why I do this Work
I’ve seen first-hand how easily women disappear into their roles — as carers, partners, professionals, mothers, daughters — until one day they realise they’ve lost touch with who they are beneath all the giving.
So many women arrive saying things like:
“I don’t know who I am anymore.”
“I feel like I’ve lost myself.”
“I just want to feel like me again.”
These words matter to me, because I know how common — and how painful — that experience can be.
Under the Cherry Tree exists for that woman.
The one who is capable, strong, and quietly exhausted.
The one who doesn’t want fixing — just space to remember herself.

What You Can Expect When You Work With Me.
When you come to Under the Cherry Tree, you can expect:
I take confidentiality, boundaries, and safety seriously. I’m not here to rescue or fix you. I’m here to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your own inner resources, strengths, and wisdom.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me in nature — walking by the sea, noticing the small seasonal changes in the garden, or simply enjoying quiet moments with a cup of tea. I believe deeply in simple rituals, slow mornings, and creating spaces that feel human and real rather than polished or performative..
Under the Cherry Tree reflects the way I try to live: gently, honestly, and with room to breathe.
If You’re Wondering Whether This Is for You
