Free Domestic Abuse Support

yOU are not alone. you never have to be

This is the part of my work that is closest to my heart.

For 25 years, I have worked with women who have experienced domestic abuse and trauma. I have sat with women in their darkest, most frightening moments. I have listened to stories that would break your heart. And I have watched — time and time again — as those same women found their courage, reclaimed their lives and discovered a strength they never knew they had.

Women are the most incredible, resilient beings on this planet. I have seen it with my own eyes, more times than I can count.
If you are experiencing domestic abuse — or if you have in the past and are still carrying the weight of it — I want you to know that I see you. I believe you. And I am here.

This support is completely free and entirely confidential. You don’t need to fill in forms, be referred, or meet any criteria. You just need to reach out — however and whenever feels right for you.

What I can offer you:

A safe, confidential space to talk to someone who truly understands

Emotional support and validation — being believed and heard

Help understanding what you’re going through — because abuse isn’t always physical

Safety planning and practical guidance

Support to explore your options — at your own pace, with no pressure

Signposting to specialist services and organisations

Ongoing support — whether you stay, leave, or have already left

Access to the Pattern Changing for Abused Women programme — a powerful course I have run for 25 years that helps women understand the patterns of abuse, reclaim their sense of self and move forward into a life they deserve

Who is this for?

This support is for you if you:

  • Are currently in an abusive relationship and don’t know what to do
  • Have recently left and are struggling to cope
  • Left years ago but are still affected by what happened
  • Aren’t sure if what you’re experiencing is abuse — but something doesn’t feel right
  • Feel scared, confused, ashamed or alone
  • Have never told anyone what’s happening
  • Have been through the system and felt let down
  • Simply need someone who gets it

You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out. There is no wrong time to ask for help. Whether it happened yesterday or twenty years ago — your experience is valid and you deserve support.
I’ve walked this road alongside hundreds of women. I know how terrifying it can feel. I know how confusing it is. I know about the shame, the self-doubt, the fear, the love that makes it complicated. I understand — without judgement, without agenda, without ever telling you what to do.

Your choices are yours. Your pace is yours. My job is simply to be here — steady, consistent and safe — for as long as you need me.

You are braver than you know. You are stronger than you feel. And you are so, so worthy of a life free from fear.

Please reach out. A message. An email. A phone call. Whatever feels safe.

I’ll be right here, under the cherry tree, waiting to welcome you.
